- What counts as a seat?
- A seat is one casting team member — a director, casting director, producer, or assistant — who has access to your organization's dashboard. Performers are never charged and never count as seats.
- Can performers use Stagebound for free?
- Yes. Performers check in and maintain their profiles completely free, always. Stagebound charges casting organizations for the tools they use to manage productions — not performers for participating in auditions.
- What happens when I reach the Free plan limits?
- You'll be prompted to upgrade to Pro. Your existing data is never deleted — you just won't be able to create new productions until you upgrade or remove an old one.
- Can I try Pro before committing?
- The Free plan lets you explore Stagebound with your team at no cost — 2 productions, 50 performers per production, and 2 seats. Upgrade to Pro whenever you outgrow those limits, and cancel anytime from your billing settings.
- How does per-seat pricing work?
- Pro is $25 per casting team member per month, or $240 per seat per year (a 20% saving). You pay for each member who has an account in your organization. Add a seat and it is prorated onto your next invoice; remove one and you are credited automatically.
